TRABAJO FORZADO Y CONTROL SOCIAL EN CUBA

This text explores models of social and political control deployed in Cuba during the 1960s against individuals who did not conform to the revolutionary framework. Specifically, I examine the implementation of forced labor camps known as Military Units to Aid Production. These camps were created under the umbrella of compulsory military service, with the goal of “rehabilitating” homosexuals, artists, people of various religious beliefs, criminals and young men of bourgeois descent.
